My favourite recipe's for my go-to comfort snacks throughout my own breastfeeding journey.

My favourite Recipe
This biscuit blend is made with a few simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients including:
-
Rolled oats — for texture and bite, source of iron, fibre and B vitamins.
-
Ground flaxseed — adds subtle nuttiness and high in Omega-3 fatty acid.
-
Brewer’s yeast — rich in B vitamins, protein, iron, selenium & chromium.
-
Ground cinnamon — a warm, cosy note that brings everything together
-
Chocolate chips — for moments that call for a little joy.
-
Sprinkle of relaxation - the act of baking can have a calm and warming effect <3
To bake, you’ll also add a few everyday wet ingredients from home, such as butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
Tip: Brewers Yeast has a naturally strong flavour, our recipe has been curated with this in mind. If you like, you can customise your flavour at home, add a little chocolate, golden syrup, extra vanilla, or a pinch of spice, to make them exactly how you love them. Either way, they'll taste great!
Always there for you

Add dried fruits
For a naturally sweet twist, you can fold in dried fruits like raisins, cranberries, or chopped apricots. Milkly recommends 15–20 g of dried fruit per 6-biscuit blend. This adds a chewy texture and a little burst of flavour in each biscuit.
Adds fibre and extra bite

Add nuts
For a little extra crunch, you can fold in chopped nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts. Milkly recommends 10–15 g of nuts per 6-biscuit blend. Chop them finely so each biscuit has a subtle, pleasant crunch.
Adds healthy fats and plant proteins

Butter Swaps
-
Coconut oil swap: use 45–48 g (for 60g butter)
-
Produces a slightly softer, tender biscuit
-
Adds a gentle coconut aroma
-
-
Olive oil swap: use 45 g (for 60 g butter)
-
Slightly cakier texture
-
-
Tip: melt and cool coconut oil before mixing
Coconut oil gives tender, soft texture and Olive Oil gives a slightly cakier biscuit

Add chocolates
For a little extra indulgence, you can add chocolate drops or chocolate pieces to your biscuits. Milkly recommends around 15–20 g of chocolate chips per 6-biscuit blend. This gives a lovely balance of chocolate in each biscuit without overpowering the warm oat and cinnamon base.
Adds a little indulgence and sweetness

Add spices
Add a little extra warmth and personality with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or mixed spice. Milkly recommends a small pinch per 6-biscuit blend — just enough to gently enhance the flavour without overpowering the comforting oat base.
Adds warmth and depth of flavour
